Full race results of NASCAR ARCA Series at Illinois State Fairgrounds

The 2024 NASCAR Springfield ARCA 100 is done and dusted. The 14th race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season commenced at 2 pm ET on Sunday, August 18, at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, with 20 entries.

Wiliam Sawalich, driving the #18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, secured his sixth win of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season in a dominant fashion at Illinois State Fairgrounds.

The 17-year-old Minnesota driver had a memorable day as he set the best speed in qualifying, led every 100 laps, and survived a late overtime restart en route to his first win on the dirt track at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. He crossed the finish line 0.888 seconds ahead of Isabella Robusto to grab the checkered flag.

It also marked Sawalich's third consecutive win in the ARCA Series and his 10th career victory in the series.

Expressing his emotions on winning his first race on a one-mile dirt oval track, Sawalich said (via arcaracing.com):

“We knew what we had last year, and I felt like we had good speed. I just had to be a little more comfortable with the dirt, which is not my thing. The guys made a really good change at the halfway break to get us a little better for the end.”

Meanwhile, Isabella Robusto and Taylor Reimer finished P2 and P3, respectively. It marked the first time two female drivers finished inside the top five in ARCA Menards Series history.

Kelly Kovski, Lavar Scott, Toni Breidinger, Kris Wright, Amber Balcaen, Christian Rose, and Tim Monroe completed the top 10.
