Full race results of NASCAR ARCA Series at Michigan International Speedway

The 2024 NASCAR Henry Ford Health 200 is done and dusted. The 13th race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season commenced at 6 pm ET on Friday, August 16, at the Michigan International Speedway, with 24 entries.

Trackhouse Racing Development driver Connor Zilisch, driving the #28 Chevrolet for the Pinnacle Racing Group, secured his fourth win of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season on his two-mile oval debut. It also marked his fourth consecutive win in the ARCA Series and his fourth career victory in his fifth start in the ARCA.

The 18-year-old upcoming NASCAR star emerged victorious after beating polesitter Andres Perrez and Tanner Gray in the closing laps. Zilisch led 39 of the 100 laps and crossed the finish line 0.701 seconds ahead of Perez to grab the checkered flag.

Expressing his emotions on winning his first race on a two-mile-long track, Connor Zilisch said:

“I’m just so grateful to have so many people surrounding me. This Pinnacle Racing Group team, man, we’ve been firing on all cylinders lately. It just means so much to win here. My first big track. This one is definitely special.”

Speaking to Frontstretch after securing a P2 finish, Andres Perez said:

“We were faster than [Zilisch]. It’s tough on these types of racetracks, where aerodynamics is so sensitive to make an actual move. We were close, but never close enough to make it.”

Meanwhile, Tanner Gray, Jake Finch, and Kris Wright are in the top five. Greg Van Alst, Jason Kitzmiller, Toni Breidinger, Christian Rose, and Amber Balcaen completed the top 10.
