Full race results of NASCAR ARCA Series at Toledo Speedway

The 2024 NASCAR Owens Corning 200 is done and dusted. The 19th race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season commenced at 4:10 pm ET on Saturday, October 5, at Toledo Speedway, with 21 entries.

William Sawalich, driving the #18 for Joe Gibbs Racing, secured his ninth ARCA Menards Series (national) win of the season in the season finale at Toledo’s half-mile track.

Sawalich had a breakout NASCAR ARCA season this year. In 14 starts this season, he earned nine wins, 13 top-five finishes, and clinched the back-to-back ARCA Menards Series East championship last month. His team JGR also clinched its third owner’s title in four years.

The 18-year-old Sawalich led numerous laps and crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 2.1 seconds ahead of Giovanni Ruggiero to grab the checkered flag.

Sawalich said of the final restart with 13 laps to go after the race (via arcaracing.com):

“I definitely got a good jump. I can’t thank my guys enough. Just a good day overall, a good end of the year for us.”

Meanwhile, Giovanni Ruggiero finished runner-up, followed by Kris Wright, Brent Crews, and Lavar Scott in the top five. Andres Perez, Toni Breidinger, Cody Dennison, Willie Mullins, and Christian Rose completed the top 10.

Andres Perez clinched the ARCA Menards Series championship convincingly for Rev Racing. He became the first Mexican-born driver to win an ARCA title.

After clinching the title, Perez said (via arcaracing.com):

“We were second most of the race there; I was just trying the best to get that win. We tried everything we could. Tried to be smart, obviously, But it didn’t work our way. But we worked hard every weekend to be in [this position]. I’m going to enjoy the moment and enjoy the championship. It was a great year. I’m so very thankful.”
