Full race results of NASCAR ARCA Series at Watkins Glen International

The 2024 NASCAR General Tire 100 at The Glen is done and dusted. The 16th race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season commenced at 5 pm ET on Friday, September 13, at Watkins Glen International, with 29 entries.

Connor Zilisch, driving the #28 Chevrolet for Pinnacle Racing Group, secured his fifth win of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season in dominant fashion at Watkins Glen International.

The 18-year-old Trackhouse Racing development driver had a memorable day as he started the race from pole. He put in a dominant performance, leading all 41 laps, and held off the rest of the field on the final lap to cross the finish line in P1. He crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 12.778 seconds ahead of William Sawalich to grab the checkered flag.

It also marked Zilisch’s fifth win in six ARCA starts ahead of his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on Saturday at Watkins Glen.

Expressing his emotions after the win, Zilisch said (via arcaracing.com):

“This Pinnacle Racing Group team worked hard, but this was one we wanted this year. We worked really hard to bring a fast car to these road courses, and it means a lot to get redemption on our second-place finish from last year.”

Meanwhile, William Sawalich finished runner-up, followed by Xfinity Series regular and former ARCA Watkins Glen winner Brandon Jones, Andres Perez, and Connor Mosack in the top five. Giovanni Ruggiero, Thomas Annunziata, Ryan Gemmell, Lavar Scott, and Dylan Lupton completed the top 10.
