Saturday's seventh annual Dean Knittel Memorial of the NASCAR Kubota High Limit Racing Series got done and dusted on Saturday (July 13) at Ohio's Portsmouth Raceway Park, with a total of 24 entries.
Rico Abreu, driving the #24 entry, secured his third win of the 2024 Kubota High Limit Racing Series season at the Portsmouth Raceway Park.
Abreu emerged victorious after grabbing the lead from Chris Windom on lap 21 of 30 and stayed out front without any challenge to cross the finish line in P1.
Abreu led the final 10 laps and crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 1.058 seconds ahead of Skylar Gee to take the checkered flag and earn a prize money of $25,554.
Meanwhile, Skylar Gee finished runner-up, followed by Chris Windom, Parker Price Miller and Cory Eliason in the top-five. Justin Peck, Zeb Wise, Brent Marks, Brenham Crouch and Corey Day completed the top-10.
Hendrick Motorsports driver and 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson's brother-in-law Brad Sweet finished 12th in the running order. Sweet is leading the Kubota High Limit Series points table.
