23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace has chosen not to comment on the 2024 U.S. Elections, opting to stay away from sharing his political views on social media. Wallace mentioned that he considers investing time in such discussions as a waste of time.

Four years ago, Wallace was vocal about the presidential elections, criticizing former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump. Amid the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement, he used X (formerly Twitter) to express his political views.

Unlike in previous years, Wallace has chosen to stay silent on political matters. When asked by Fox News Digital about his stance, the #23 Toyota driver avoided any direct political comments. Instead, Wallace encouraged his fans to buy McDonald's meals and Dr. Pepper, adding that the money would support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), giving a shout-out to his primary sponsors in the process.

"Go to McDonald's, Buy a meal, get the 10-piece chicken nugget, fries, Dr. Pepper and then round up that money, all of that money goes to [Ronald McDonald House Charities]," he said.

The 31-year-old elaborated on his decision to avoid sharing his political views, stating that investing time in such matters is pointless. He explained that in the past, he felt the need to speak out because he believed the sport was in dire need of change.

"Investing my time into that seems like a waste of time. I was definitely more vocal then because our sport was in desperate need of change," Wallace said.
"My beliefs stand strong in just being good humans to other people is the best way to go about life. No matter what side you're on, no matter what color you are, at the end of the day we're in this world together and we have to make it work together. And I think I've said that from day one and that hasn't changed and nor will it change," he added.

A lot has changed for Wallace since 2020. Now driving for Michael Jordan at 23XI Racing and recently becoming a father, he has taken on new responsibilities.

Bubba Wallace on limited social media presence

Earlier this season, Bubba Wallace said that he had been avoiding social media to steer clear of the negativity it fosters. He continues to limit his interactions online, focusing primarily on motorsports, close friends and family, and partners.

Wallace suggested that social media allows people to hide behind screens and voice uninformed opinions. The 31-year-old is now focusing his energy on his team and family, having recently welcomed his firstborn.

"It's just too much negativity that it's going to take years and years and years to get rid of, and we don't have time for that. Now, with being a dad and trying to be the best that I can be here for my race team and my team here, that's where I'm investing my energy so that's all you can really ask for," he told Fox News.

Bubba Wallace has not advanced to the 2024 NASCAR playoffs but continues to fight for victories heading to the final stretch of the season.
