During the NASCAR Cup Series YellaWood 500 race held on October 6, 2024, at Talladega, fans had their eyes on the big wreck but also on Zane Smith's wife McCall. She went to the Talladega Speedway to support her husband in his last race, and fans went crazy over her outfit.
McCall shared an Instagram post of her time on Sunday at NASCAR's longest track. She uploaded images with her husband, the #71 Chevy Camaro ZL1 driver, wearing an "S" initial necklace and brown-framed tinted glasses that caught everyone's attention.
McCall got a few messages from her fans asking where she bought her outfit. She answered in her Instagram story, sharing a link to her outfit, and wrote:
"Had a few DMs asking about my lip combo, sunglasses, and necklace so I linked for you all."
Zane Smith also got involved in the huge crash with just five laps to go at Talladega. However, he recovered from the accident and completed the race. The Spire Motorsports rookie driver finished in P21, and his wife shared an image of his car's damage.
Zane Smith's wife McCall felt nostalgic after wearing a white floral dress
Spire Motorsports driver Zane Smith and McCall Gaulding got married this year, and she is already missing her big day. A few days earlier, she shared an Instagram story of her in a white floral wedding gown and reminisced about her wedding day.
The two started dating in their teens and have been together for a long time. They got engaged in April 2022 and tied the knot on January 11, 2024, in Charleston, South Carolina. Recalling the moment McCall wrote:
"Went through wedding photos last night and boy do I miss this day."
McCall frequently makes track appearances with Smith to cheer him on during the race. He drives the Spire Motorsports #71 Chevy Camaro ZL1. He has four top-10 and two top-five finishes in 31 races this season.
The 25-year-old driver has signed a multi-year contract with Trackhouse Racing but will part ways with the team by the end of this season. According to FOX Sport's Bob Pockrass, Smith aims to join Front Row Motorsports (FRM) as a full-time Cup Series driver. FRM earlier announced that it had acquired its third charter from Stewart Haas Racing.
Additionally, Zane Smith is a part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, driving the #91 Chevy truck. He also ran in 12 races of the Xfinity Series with a best finish of P25 in 2019.
