Former NASCAR driver Hailie Deegan shared snippets from the Ford Ultimate Raptor off-road challenge alongside eminent Ford drivers, including Joey Logano.
The year 2025 is a crucial one for the up-and-coming racing sensation. Dubbed as one of the most eminent female drivers in the United States, Deegan is set to transition from NASCAR to IndyCar.
As she prepares for the upcoming Indy NXT campaign, the 23-year-old participated in a fun Ford Ultimate Raptor Challenge. Ahead of the legendary annual rally raid, the Dakar Rally, Ford Performance organised an off-road contest modeled after the same on a dirt track.
Its participants including reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano, former Xfinity Series driver Hailie Deegan and legendary drift racer James Deane. Deegan shared behind the scenes snippets of the off-road challenge on Instagram, captioning it:

The Ford Ultimate Raptor Challenge featured James Deane piloting the Ranger Raptor. Meanwhile, Joey Logano took charge of the F-150 Raptor R, while Hailie Deegan raced in the Bronco Raptor. The event consisted of three different stages.
Stage 1 featured a 180-meter rocky ravine filled with sharp stones and tight corners, where James Deane posted the fastest time. Stage 2 was a 600-meter loose sandy section with rocks and diversions.Deane dominated the leaderboard.
The final stage involved a 380-meter stretch of dune surfing with flat straights and a jump, where Joey Logano emerged as the fastest. Deegan finished last in all three stages and in the overall cumulative standings.
On the racetrack, Hailie Deegan has endured a tumultuous period in the last six months. While much was expected out of her big move to Xfinity Series with AM Racing, it didn't come to fruition, as her AM contract was terminated contract midway through the season due to a string of lacklustre performances.
Without a full-time ride for the remainder of 2024, the 23-year-old tried her hands at open-wheel racing. The California native is now set to make her Indy NXT debut in the upcoming campaign, where she will pilot the No. 38 car for HMD Motorsports. It remains to be seen whether a return to NASCAR remains in contention for Deegan's near future.
