Hailie Deegan recently shared a clip of her racing on go-karts during her break from the NASCAR Xfinity Series. She was seen wearing the racing suit from her last team, AM Racing.

Earlier this season, AM Racing announced that they were parting ways with Deegan. She was replaced by Joey Logano for the race in Chicago. Despite the split, she had her suit on from the team while racing on karts. She posted a video on her Snapchat which was later reshared by a user on X. In the video, Deegan reminisced about the old days when she went karting and said:

"So I used to come to the go-kart track a lot back in the day. It's been a while. This stuff kicks your ass!"

2024 was set to be Deegan's first season as a permanent driver in the Xfinity Series with AM Racing. She took part in one championship race in the 2022 season (finishing P13 in Las Vegas). Her season started out of competition and after a series of disappointing performances, she was replaced by the team.

Hailie Deegan was out of the top 20 a total of 13 times in the 17 races she took part in. Furthermore, her best finish was a P12 at Talladega. After the team decided to split, she stated that her goals "no longer align(ed)" with those of the team. She said (as quoted by NBC):

"Beginning this season, I had a lot of excitement and hope in taking my next step in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. It’s something I’ve been working towards for years and always dreamt about. I worked hard to prepare for this season after the team pursued me to drive their car."
"Unfortunately, it has not turned out the way that I expected. There are always several reasons within a race team as to why things do or do not work, but sadly our goals no longer align," she added.

AM Racing announces third driver to drive the #15 Ford driven by Hailie Deegan this season

As mentioned earlier, Joey Logano had first replaced Hailie Deegan in Chicago. He managed to finish in eighth place, a major improvement from where the car was finishing earlier in the season.

Josh Berry was the next driver behind the wheel of the #15 Ford. He participated in two races, however, finished only in P27 and P38. Following up on the next race in Michigan, the team announced Lawless Alan as the driver. He currently takes part in the Truck Series full-time with Reaume Brothers Racing. This is set to be his debut in the Xfinity Series.
