Wood Brothers Racing driver Harrison Burton and his fiance, Jenna Petty, recently shared a sneak peek of their engagement photo shoot. The couple has been teasing their photoshoot over the past few weeks, with their latest snapshots providing a glimpse of their scenic boat ride.

The high school sweethearts got engaged earlier this year in March when Burton popped the question at Gapstow Bridge in New York. The couple has been in a relationship since 2017 and recently celebrated their seventh anniversary, expressing their affection for each other in a heartfelt note.

On October 17, Petty shared on her Instagram Stories with the caption "sneaky peaky," revealing that her wait for the engagement shoot day was finally over. Then, on October 30, the couple shared another picture with the caption "sneaky peaky", this time from a boat on a scenic lake. She posted a drone shot, offering a glimpse of their beautiful setting.

Burton and Petty have celebrated several milestones this year, including his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Daytona International Speedway. The #21 Wood Brothers Racing driver also made his first Cup series playoff appearance, although he was eliminated in the first round.

After a three-year tenure with the iconic Wood Brothers Racing team in the Cup Series, Burton will transition to the Xfinity Series next year, where he is set to join AM Racing.

Harrison Burton insists proposing to fiance Jenna Petty was more nerve-wracking than final laps at Daytona

Harrison Burton lined up on the front row with Kyle Busch for the final restart at Daytona in August and beat the 2x champion to secure Wood Brothers Racing's milestone 100th victory. Reflecting on the experience, he compared the final laps of the race to his engagement proposal earlier this year, noting that the latter was more nerve-wracking.

Speaking to Sports360az, the 24-year-old reflected on the various highlights of 2024 and insisted the proposal was the scariest thing he had ever done. He said:

"The proposal was much more scarier than anything else I've ever done in my life, honestly. The nice thing about racing is I kind of know what I'm doing, and I've studied and prepared. Not that I wasn't prepared but its definitely nothing you've ever done before right? Getting engaged, it was scary, I knew she would say yes, but I was still nervous, I don't know why." he said [from 1:51].

Reflecting on his three-year tenure with Wood Brothers Racing, he described it as a "very good learning experience," adding that he will leave the team as a significantly better driver than when he first joined.
