With the 2025 NASCAR season just a month from now, Harrison Burton has returned to work for his preseason duties. His new team, AM Racing, welcomed the driver back with a meme of him looking stressed out.
Burton is a 24-year-old professional stock car racing driver heading to the Xfinity Series with AM Racing. He previously drove the No. 21 Ford Mustang for Wood Brothers Racing and made the Round of 16 after winning the Coke Zero Sugar 400.
On Instagram, Harrison Burton was a good sport with AM Racing's post about his hilarious reaction on his first day in the office and reshared the same on his Instagram story.
Meanwhile, the post reads:
"When it’s the first day back in the office and you have to respond to all of those emails from the holiday season."
Burton will join AM Racing in 2025 after a three-year stint with Wood Brothers Racing in the Cup Series. He will drive AM Racing's flagship No. 15 Ford Mustang following Hailie Deegan's mid-season departure from the team.
The upcoming season will mark the North Carolina native's return to the Xfinity Series. He drove the No. 20 Toyota GR Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing for two years and won four races in the 2020 season.
Burton may have dropped to the second-tier series but was excited to drive for AM Racing. He said his experiences in the premier series could help his new team build its program and hoped to win races.
The young driver will debut with AM Racing on February 15 for the United Rentals 300 at the Daytona International Speedway.
Harrison Burton's fiancée, Jenna Petty, expressed support for the AM Racing-bound driver after the 2024 season
Following the 2024 season finale at Phoenix Raceway, Harrison Burton's fiancée, Jenna Petty, penned a heartfelt message for the driver on Instagram. She shared how proud she was of Burton and said she would continue to be his 'number one fan.'
Today, one chapter ends and another begins. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Harrison is the best person I’ve ever known. He loves this team like his own family, and he fights for this team like his life depends on it. To be able to win here, was a dream come true.
She added:
I couldn’t be more proud of the man and competitor he has become. Through the best days, worst days, and everything in between, I’ll be your number one fan. From this chapter to the next. Forever and always.
In response, Burton commented with a red heart emoji:
"Love you."
Aside from a new start with AM Racing, Burton will tie the knot with Jenna Petty this year. Petty revealed in an Instagram Q&A story that they plan to get married in October, which is around the NASCAR Round of 8 timeframe.
