Harrison Burton's fiancé Jenna Petty shares their pet's adorable 'obsession' with Todd Gilliland's wife Marissa

Harrison Burton's fiance Jenna Petty shared an Instagram story, showcasing their pet, Remi's 'obsession' with Todd Gilliland's wife Marissa. Both NASCAR drivers are rivals on the track but share a healthy relationship off the track. Burton drives for Wood Brothers Racing while Gilliland fields #38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports.

The 35th Cup Series race weekend is around the corner, slated to kick off at Homestead-Miami Speedway, on Sunday, October 27, 2.30 PM ET. But before Burton got engaged in the hectic race weekend, he and Jenna went on a date to an 'adorable Italian restaurant,' where the to-be wife donned a chic all-black outfit.

Following their time together, the couple met Marissa. Gilliand's wife and Burton's fiance share a good relationship. They recently went to Sabrina Carpenter's concert, where the duo was joined by Zane Smith's wife McCall, and they cherished the Tour in high spirits.

Jenna brought her dog, Remi, when they met Marissa. Even though Jenna held the leash, Remi stood beside Gilliland's wife as if refusing to let go. The adorable sight prompted Burton's fiance to share it with her fanbase.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 22-year-old shared Remi's obsession with Marissa.

"Remi's a lil obsessed with Marissa Gilliland 🥰," Jenna wrote.

Following their meetup with Marissa, Jenna and Harrison Burton savored a night walk at the 'coolest infield.'

A few days back, Burton and Gilliand hit the golf course after the latter expressed his disappointment with his NASCAR friend. In an unexpected turnaround, a random fan replied to the FRM driver's reaction to Austin Dillon's Las Vegas wreck and asked about his thoughts on the WBR driver.

Gilliland expressed that Burton didn't invite him to the dinner, and has fallen on his priority list. The #21 Ford driver took note of his friend's dismay and justified that he was on a date night with Jenna, and also hilariously apologized for the same.

But Harrison Burton went a step further and took Gilliand to the golf course. The duo have previously played golf together, something commonly known in the community, courtesy of their role in NASCAR's 'Fast Friends' presentation.

Notably, Burton was impressed by his mate's announcing skills and vouched for him as an announcer for the PGA Tour.

"Just to close the loop on this went golfing to make it up to @ToddGilliland. I played so bad I asked him to film me so I could see what was wrong… then hit the first good shot all day (hire him as an announcer @PGATOUR)," Burton wrote.

The friends will become rivals as they gear up for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 race, where Harrison Burton will enter as a 16th-placed driver, while Todd Gilliland will start his run on 23rd spot.
