Harrison Burton and his fiancée, Jenna Petty, went out on a date recently. But they did not go to a fancy restaurant. Instead, the couple hit the sauna and while they did that, Jenna Petty shared a picture with Burton through her Instagram story.
A dancer at heart and by profession, Jenna Petty works as a part-time dance instructor at Dance Productions—The Remix. She’s also been the brand ambassador for Jo + Jax Dancewear since 2019.
Petty captioned her story, saying,
“Sauna date.”
Petty and Burton have been together for eight years. They got engaged in March and are expected to tie the knot on October 1, 2025, in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina.
Harrison Burton is the son of former Cup Series driver Jeff Burton, and the cousin of Xfinity Series regular, Jeb Burton. Driving the No. 21 for Wood Brothers Racing, Burton finished 16 on points last season, while picking one top-5, a pair of top-10s, and a win at Daytona International Speedway in August.
He will drive full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series under the banner of AM Racing. Notably, it will be the team’s third year of full-time racing at the Xfinity level.
“I think this will be a great opportunity for me to take the things I’ve learned in the Cup Series, bring those to the Xfinity Series and be the best driver I can be,” Harrison Burton said (via AM Racing). “It’s a blessing to continue my NASCAR journey, and I intend to make the most of this opportunity.”
Burton’s first race of 2025 is the United Rentals 300 at Daytona International Speedway. The event will stream on CW, 5 pm ET, with live radio coverage from MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
“3 years of heartbreak, hardships, and horrible luck”- Jenna Petty reflects on Harrison Burton’s road to victory
Harrison Burton joined the NASCAR Cup Series in 2022. It took him about three years to clinch his first-ever win in the Cup Series. And with that, he made the playoffs for the first time in his Cup Series.
However, the road to this moment was not a smooth one. Reflecting on the same through a post on Instagram, Petty wrote,
“3 years of heartbreak, hardships, and horrible luck led to this moment. this surreal moment where it was all worth it. i could not be prouder to be by your side through every step of this journey.”
Burton’s victory was also the 100th Cup Series win for Wood Brothers Racing. It was indeed a moment worth celebrating as the Ford team finished 30th or worse in almost half of all point-paying races throughout the 2024 season.
“You deserve every bit of this success,” Petty i love you, fiancé, and i’m so honored to share it all with you. you proved it! you’re a nascar cup series winner, baby!!!
Burton did qualify for the playoffs in 2020 and 2021. But that was in the Xfinity Series while driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. There was a time when Burton drove for the now-defunct Truck Series team Kyle Busch Motorsports as well.
