Harrison Burton on returning to Xfinity Series with AM Racing in 2025

The 24-year-old Harrison Burton had been racing with Wood Brothers Racing for the past three seasons. He also qualified for the playoffs after winning the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona. However, he was eliminated after the race at Bristol.

Given his performances, the team did not sign him again for next season. Josh Berry is set to replace him. Meanwhile, Burton will return to the Xfinity Series with AM Racing.

He believes he can improve the team and assist the team in winning races in the future.

"I’m excited to join AM Racing and help build it into the race-winning race team I believe it can and will be," Burton said in a statement. "I think this will be a great opportunity for me to take the things I’ve learned in the Cup Series, bring those to the Xfinity Series and be the best driver I can be."
"It’s a blessing to continue my Nascar journey, and I intend to make the most of this opportunity," he added.

Harrison Burton has had a much better record racing in the Xfinity Series. He clinched four wins and 49 top tens over the course of three years with Joe Gibbs Racing in the series.
