Jenna Petty recently made a fashion statement and accompanied her fiance, Harrison Burton, during the Bank of America 400 ROVAL race. The high school sweethearts have been together for almost seven years and were spotted on various race weekends.
In a recent Instagram post, Petty shared pictures of her parents with the Wood Brothers Racing driver Burton at the road course event at Charlotte Motor Speedway. She donned faux leather silver jeans with a red-knitted top for the final Round of 12 race.
"Home team❣️," captioned Petty on Instagram.
Despite having the surname Petty, she is not related to the iconic Petty family of NASCAR. A graduate of High Point University affiliated with the United Methodist Church in North Carolina, the 22-year-old is a dancer for Dance Productions - The Remix. Moreover, she has competed in the Better Half Dash, which invites all the wives and girlfriends of NASCAR drivers for a racing endeavor.
The couple started seeing each other when they were 15 and recently celebrated their seventh anniversary. Petty expressed her love for the 24-year-old Huntersville native in a social media post. She wrote:
"to me, and for me, you are perfect - whether or not anyone else agrees. i could never want or need you to be more. you are my best friend, rock, confidant, unconditional love, and now, fiancé. our love never gets old. from 15, to 22, to forever, it’s you and me - always has been and always will be. happy anniversary, lover boy."
#21 Ford driver Burton proposed to Petty earlier this year and hinted at their marriage some time next year.
"You deserve every bit of this success": Jenna Petty wrote a heartfelt note for Harrison Burton's first Cup Series victory
Harrison Burton made a shocking entry into the playoff when he won the second-last race of the regular season. The WBR driver is the son of NASCAR driver-turned-commentator Jeff Burton and is in his third full-time season with the oldest active Cup Series team.
After achieving a milestone at the 2024 Coke Zero Sugar 400 race at Daytona International Speedway, Jenna Petty penned a heartwarming note for her soon-to-be husband on Instagram. She wrote:
"3 years of heartbreak, hardships, and horrible luck led to this moment. this surreal moment where it was all worth it. i could not be prouder to be by your side through every step of this journey... - and last night, when you were given a once in a lifetime opportunity, you capitalized, and did just that."
"You deserve every bit of this success. i love you, fiancé, and i’m so honored to share it all with you. you proved it! you’re a nascar cup series winner, baby!!!" she added.
However, Burton couldn't advance to the next round but this feat in itself was a huge success for the young driver.
As things stand, he would be making a switch to the Xfinity Series, driving the #15 Ford for AM Racing after the end of the 2024 season.
