NASCAR driver Harrison Burton’s fiancée, Jenna Petty recently showed off the Christmas gift she got from her parents. The newspaper-themed purse includes two significant cities for the young couple, Paris and New York.
Burton and Petty got engaged in March this year and have been together for over seven years. Petty is a professional dancer and a graduate of High Point University. She currently works at Dance Productions and is active on social media. In her latest Instagram stories, the 22-year-old shared a picture of her Christian Dior purse and wrote:
"Mom and Dad are unreal. Paris: where HB [Harrison Burton] asked for dad's blessing. New York: where we got engaged."
She also posted a picture with Burton and her parents and captioned it:
"Merry Christmas everyone!!! go Jesus its ya birthday"
Burton is the first driver born in the 2000s to debut in the Cup Series in 2021 and win a race this year. He won the 2024 Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona in Wood Brother Racing's No. 21 Ford Mustang.
Burton, the son of former NASCAR driver Jeff Burton, will however end his three years in the Cup Series and return to the Xfinity Series, where he has four wins and 49 top-10 finishes in 75 starts. He will drive the No. 15 Ford next year for AM Racing.
"It has always been and will always be, you" - Harrison Burton and Jenna Petty's engagement in New York
Harrison Burton proposed to Petty at Gapstow Bridge in Central Park on March 27. The couple met in high school and have been together since. They announced their engagement on Instagram and wrote:
"It has always been and will always be, you. 3.27.2024 💍"
They are set to marry in October next year at Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina. In an interview during the NASCAR Awards ceremony in late November, Burton talked about his relationship and upcoming wedding with Petty.
"Jenna and I, we've been together for seven years, right? And, for us to be engaged and getting ready for a wedding is really fun—something that we both have been looking forward to since we were 16 years old. So, it’s a really fun and cool part of our lives, and we’re just soaking it in and enjoying it," Burton said [01:26 onwards].
Harrison Burton finished the 2024 Cup Series season with one win at 16th place in the final standings. The 24-year-old will next compete in the Xfinity Series at Daytona International Speedway on February 15, 2025.
