NASCAR Cup Series driver Harrison Burton's fiancée Jenna Petty shared her monthly highlight through her social media handle. Petty and Burton got engaged earlier this year.
Second generation driver Harrison Burton has been touted as one of the top racing prospect in NASCAR for the longest time. The son of NASCAR legend Jeff Burton, Harrison is a KBM graduate who, in his two full seasons with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series, was presented with the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year award.
Burton's quick rise to prominence was noticed by multiple NASCAR Cup Series outfits. Wood Brothers Racing, NASCAR's oldest team still in existence, signed the Huntersville, North Carolina native on a multi-year deal in 2022.
The 23-year-old driver, however, has by and large failed to make a mark in NASCAR's premier division so far. Now in his third season, Burton failed to make it to the playoffs in all three years, remaining winless and securing a sole top-5 finish in the process.
While Burton faces professional challenges, he finds strength and comfort in his personal life. Earlier this year, he proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Jenna Petty, and the couple has since enjoyed their engagement.
Petty, a dancer with Dance Productions - The Remix and a graduate in entrepreneurship, frequently shares glimpses of their life together on her social media platforms.
In her latest Instagram story, Petty joined the "Goodbye to June" trend, sharing a collage of six pictures to highlight her month. Giving fans a peek into their daily lives and activities over the past month, she captioned the post:
"6 pics to say goodbye to June."
Jenna Petty shares her support for Harrison Burton
Burton's tumultuous Cup stint with Wood Brothers Racing is set to come to an end at the end of 2024. After three full seasons, the 23-year-old driver will part ways with the legendary team, as he is set to be replaced by Stewart-Haas Racing's Josh Berry.
Despite his setbacks, Burton remains grateful for his time with WBR and shared his appreciation in a heartfelt Instagram video. As he treads through a tough period in his career, Burton has the support of his fiancée.
In response to Burton's post, Jenna Petty expressed her support in the comments. She wrote:
"My ride or die. love you."
Burton replied:
"Love you 💪❤️"
Harrison Burton is ranked 33rd in the NASCAR Cup Series standings after 19 races. As he continues to strive for better results on the track, he has 217 points to his name, courtesy of a single top-10 finish.
