"Haven't swam in over a week" - Bubba Wallace's wife Amanda gets real about pregnancy

Amanda Wallace, wife of 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace, recently spoke about going through pregnancy. The couple are expecting their first child later this year in October.

In an Instagram story, Amanda shared a photo of herself with the baby bump in a swimming outfit and emphasized how her day-to-day movements have slowed down in the last couple of weeks as the baby grows. She wrote:

"Pregnancy is so wild. I haven't swam in over a week. So hoping this goes well. I def(initely) have slowed down a lot in the last 2 weeks."

The #23 Toyota Camry driver Wallace got engaged to Amanda in July 2021 after having known each other since childhood. The couple then got married on New Year's Eve of 2022 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Earlier this year in April, Amanda and Bubba Wallace announced the heartwarming news that they are expecting a baby, sharing a picture of a sonogram on their Instagram handle.

"Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, We’ll be mom and dad! Baby Wallace coming October 2024." the Wallace couple wrote.

Bubba Wallace and Amanda planned a unique way for the gender reveal of their child

23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda revealed the gender of their child last month in a rather interesting way. The couple, who have known each other since childhood, recently announced that they are expecting a boy.

According to People.com, they first met in high school. However, they never dated until after both of them reconnected at a college football game in 2015 and started spending more time together. Wallace then proposed to Amanda in July of 2021 in Oregon, and got married the next year.

Recently, the couple planned a unique gender reveal with their friends and families. They orchestrated a treasure hunt with the help of their friends, where the couple had to find and crack open some hidden Easter eggs. A total of 23 eggs were hidden, out of which 12 had blue necklaces symbolizing a boy and 11 had pink necklaces depicting a girl. Eventually, they cracked open the 12th egg, revealing that they would have a baby boy.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old Wallace is gearing up for the 19th race of the season at Nashville Superspeedway. He is now a spot below the playoff cutline after his late wreck with Noah Gragson at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Bubba Wallace now sits at P15 in the overall Cup Series standings with three top-five and five top-ten finishes after 18 starts in the 2024 Cup Series season.
