After missing out on the Cup Series championship title in the Championship Four race at Phoenix Raceway in November, Bell is making his comeback on the dirt racing tracks.

Christopher Bell's dirt racing updates before he enters the 2025 Cup Series season

NASCAR Cup Series driver Christopher Bell recently announced his return to dirt racing. He will be competing in next year's Chili Bowl Nationals alongside on-track rivals Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, and teammate Ty Gibbs at Tulsa, Oklahoma, from January 13 to 18. Bell is returning to the series after Joe Gibbs, owner of JGR, reversed his stance on the team's drivers competing in dirt racing.

In 2017, the #20 Toyota Camry driver became the first Oklahoman to win the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals since Andy Hillenburn in 1994. Bell would go on to win the title in 2018 and 2019 as well.

Recently, Bell's wife, Morgan, shared an update on his venture in the POWRi National Midget League. Bell is known for dominating the dirt racing tracks and has been practicing before entering the Chili Bowl Nationals.

Christopher Bell will be racing at the Southern Illinois Center on Saturday, December 28, 2024, for the Jr. Knepper 55 at the POWRi National Midget Racing League. In the story his wife posted, Bell was making last-minute changes to his dirt car.

Meanwhile, the Norman-born driver is also set to compete in his sixth Cup Series season in 2025 alongside Denny Hamlin, Ty Gibbs, and new teammate Chase Briscoe. The #20 Toyota Camry driver wrapped his fifth season this year and finished in fifth place in the points table, securing three wins, three pole positions, 15 top-five, and 23 top-ten finishes.
