Dale Jr. and Amy Earnhardt have shared a loving relationship for over a decade and are seven years into their marriage. The couple often provides glimpses into their life at the Earnhardt household, with Amy recently revealing some of her husband's gross habits.
The NASCAR Hall of Famer's wife recently made an appearance in the latest episode of the Dale Jr. Download podcast. When the couple was quizzed about the habits their counterparts find hard to understand, the 49-year-old suggested his addiction to video games.
However, Amy Earnhardt shrugged off Dale Jr.'s answer and revealed that he blows his nose into a bath towel, and hangs it back in the same place. She jokingly described how her husband regularly "honks" his nose into the towel, leaving her guessing which towel was used.
"No, it's blowing your nose in the bath towel. He dries himself off and then honks his nose as loud as a goose into the towel. Here’s the thing about said towel. He will hang it back up. So if you don't know if its your towel, or his towel because they all look the same." Amy said.
Dale Jr. elaborated on the habit, admitting that he must have picked it up from his dad, Dale Sr. While he wasn't sure if his dad used a bath towel, he could hear his father blowing his nose from the other side of the house.
"I do not know that Dad did it into a bath towel. I could just hear Dad on the other side of the house making noise and it honked. When I did that one day, I was like, ‘Yeah, I am never not doing this.” Junior added.
