Parker Retzlaff has signed a deal with Alpha Prime Racing (APR) to compete full-time. in the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Retzlaff’s switch to APR marks an interesting change following his departure from Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR).
The 21-year-old racer spent the last two full-time NASCAR Xfinity seasons in the #31 Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing. However, he could only manage a 16th place finish in the points standings in 2023 and 21st this past season.
After Alpha Prime Racing announced Retzlaff as part of its 2025 Xfinity driver lineup on X, fans took to the social media platform to voice their opinions. There were some mixed reactions from netizens.
Several fans questioned why Retzlaff and JAR parted ways while some congratulated him for his new home in Xfinity Series. One fan wrote:

Parker Retzlaff makes his feelings known about his new Xfinity Series ride for 2025
On Wednesday (December 18), Alpha Prime Racing announced that Parker Retzlaff will drive the #4 Chevrolet Xfinity beginning with the season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The crew chief and sponsorship for the car are yet to be announced.
Retzlaff said he is grateful to APR for giving him the opportunity to drive the #4 Chevy and confident to perform well on his new team.
“I’m humbled, honestly. Obviously, I wouldn’t be here without the support of my partners — who I’m really excited to announce later. [Team president] Tommy [Joe Martins] and [team owner] Caesar [Bacarella] have put together an awesome team. It’s a big confidence booster for me to go into 2025 with a group that really wants me here,” Parker Retzlaff said in a team release via tobychristie.com.
Parker Retzlaff has made 74 starts in the Xfinity Series in the last three years and earned 12 top-10 finishes and two poles. He will look to win his first NASCAR race with Alpha Prime Racing next season.
