Kyle Busch's wife Samantha has shared a childhood picture of her alongside one of their elder son Brexton in response to everyone calling him a "spitting image" of his father. She feels that he looks more like her during her early days.
Like his father, 9-year-old Brexton has already developed an image on social media from his successful early ventures in dirt racing. However, that isn't the only way his personality on Instagram gains traction. Samantha regularly shares life updates on her account of him, his sister Lennix, and their father. She has gained close to 250k followers on the platform and they continue to grow.
In her current story, Samantha responded to "everyone" feeling Brexton looks more like his father by pulling up a picture from her childhood, claiming he looks more like her than his father:
"Everyone saying Brexton is a spitting image of Kyle, I still think he looks like me."
Brexton followed in his father Kyle Busch's footsteps with an early racing debut. He had a successful stint on the dirt and debuted on asphalt with a kart. However, it did not go as planned and he was rather disappointed with the result, planning to improve by practicing.
Kyle Busch's wife Samantha shares her "proud" moment as son Brexton discusses practicing more
Brexton stepped into a kart competitively for the first time at the Trackhouse Motorplex. He had practiced the track well and a previous post also depicted that he knew it completely and drew it by hand. His father Kyle Busch backed him with the practice drawing from his immense experience in racing.
But the debut turned out to be rather disappointing. Brexton's finish wasn't satisfactory and his mother Samantha said he was "discouraged". However, she revealed he wanted to practice more with someone with greater experience in karting to improve his asphalt racing skills:
"What I'm most proud of, he woke up this morning and said, 'Mom can I watch some film and can we get out on the track with someone with experience so I can follow and learn?' I knew he felt discouraged the other day, happy to see it pushing him to work hard."
Brexton is set to compete in the Tulsa Shootout series later this month with his father who has been racing with Richard Childress Racing since 2023. Although his first season with the team was rather competitive, he witnessed a dry spell throughout 2024 remaining short of a victory. He did not win a race in the Cup Series season for the first time in 19 years.
