Noah Gragson recently shared his thoughts following the announcement of his crew chief and car number for Front Row Motorsports. The 26-year-old is set to reunite with former Stewart-Haas Racing crew chief Drew Blickensderfer and the duo will take the reins of the No. 4 Ford Mustang for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season.
In a conversation with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Gragson discussed how a year of chemistry with Blickensderfer in the now-defunct No. 10 Ford of SHR will work in their favor. Moreover, the Las Vegas, Nevada native emphasized how "they hit it off" right from the start, securing two top-10s in the first three races of the 2024 Cup season.
"We're first off really excited to just fire back off for another year after building a year having team chemistry together," Noah Gragson said.
"Right off the bat, we hit it off and Drew's been so much fun to work with. He's been a big brother to me and somebody that I can always count on and we've got some other team members from our team at Stewart-Haas from the 10 team. So they're coming over and we're just super excited."
Gragson also discussed how it has been a "rollercoaster of emotions and challenges" for him. For context, this will be his third team in three full-time seasons in NASCAR's premier division.
Nevertheless, Gragson is amped up for his reunion and is excited to start the next season strong.
"I'm very grateful": Noah Gragson looks back on his stint with Tony Stewart-owned organization in 2024
Earlier this season, along with the plans of adding a third car team to its roster, Front Row Motorsports announced the signing of Noah Gragson to their Ford roster, courtesy of Stewart-Haas Racing.
As SHR announced its departure from the NASCAR Cup Series, all four Ford drivers' futures were in limbo. However, as the silly season progressed, all the SHR drivers found a new home to compete in the 2025 season.
In a conversation with Kelly Crandall earlier this month, Gragson reflected on his time with Tony Stewart and Gene Haas.
"I’m very grateful for Tony Stewart and Greg Zipadelli and everybody who has given me this opportunity over at Stewart-Haas. It’s a bummer what everyone is going through but for myself personally, I’m not content and I’m not satisfied with (what we’ve accomplished). But I’m confident to say I feel like I have somewhat earned an opportunity to race on Sundays."
Gragson will join a young driver's lineup in the Bob Jenkins-owned FRM. Alongside him, Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith will take the reins of No. 34 and No. 38 Ford respectively.
