Bubba Wallace's wife, Amanda Wallace, opened up on the 23XI driver's pre-race ordeal, an action that almost saw her getting 'knocked' out. As per her update, Wallace, with his "smooch", unsettled her in Chicago.

Wallace was in Downtown Chicago for the 2024 Chicago Street Race. Accompanying him in the race, lady Wallace was also there. As Wallace was getting ready to run his race, his "smooch" prior to the event unsettled his wife, who later on took to social media to share the incident.

Revealing this, Amanda Wallace wrote on her Instagram story,

"Bubba [He] tried to knock me out when he went in for a smooch this weekend."

Amanda Wallace arrived at the venue wearing a black A-line dress and styled it up with jewelry and a sage green sling bag. She is a regular visitor to the race events, as she often turns up to support her husband.

As NASCAR returned to Illinois, the race weekend delivered a power-packed, short, and crisp 58-lap race. The Grant Park 650 was the 20th race of the season and a much-awaited one.

Alex Bowman claimed the victory in the rain-soaked race, ahead of Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs. Bubba Wallace finished 13th, after he tangled with Bowman, and dropped down and lost places.

Bubba Wallace was one unhappy man after Alex Bowman ruined his race in The Grant Park 650. During stage 2 of the race, and particularly in Lap 25 of 75, Bowman and Wallace made contact.

This resulted in the #23 Toyota spinning to his right and slamming against the tire walls. Wallace then tried to get out of everyone's way, only to get stuck in the middle, and collect Daniel Suarez.

Even though the #23 driver went on to continue his race, it bore no fruit. The 23XI driver has a bittersweet relationship with Bowman, as the former got into brawls with the latter on more than one occasion.

The most remembered one must be the water splash at Charlotte. However, it was no different this time as Wallace went on to find Bowman after the race and door-slammed him.

After the race victory, Bowman was celebrating the win, and suddenly saw Bubba Wallace close in on him and slam the Camry against his Camaro. However, the #48 driver understood the motive behind this and believed he deserved it.

As per Kelly Crandall's X post, Bowman said, "He barely hit me and everything was fine. And it was deserved." Wallace, however, did not make any further comments on this.
