“Heart is full”: Ryan Blaney’s fiancée’s heartfelt reaction to holding IndyCar star Scott McLaughlin’s daughter

Ryan Blaney's fiancée, Gianna Tulio, has expressed love for IndyCar star Scott McLaughlin’s daughter. Tulio took to Instagram to share a stories post of her holding the baby, writing that her "heart is full."

Blaney is a 30-year-old NASCAR Cup Series driver piloting the No. 12 Ford Mustang for Team Penske. He got engaged to Tulio in December 2023, and the two plan to get married later this month in Aspen, Colorado.

Per Tulio's post, she was comfortably holding McLaughlin's daughter Lucy Violet while the baby slept in her arms.

"Heart is full," Tulio wrote.

Tulio also tagged the New Zealander IndyCar star and his wife Karly Paone, whom he married in 2019. The two welcomed their first-born child Lucy Violet on October 10, 2024.

While Ryan Blaney and Scott McLaughlin may compete in different racing series, the drivers are part of Team Penske.

Blaney has been competing in the NASCAR Cup Series with Team Penske since 2018. The driver notably won his first Cup Series championship in 2023. This year, he lost the title to teammate Joey Logano, finishing behind him in P2 at Phoenix Raceway.

Meanwhile, McLaughlin has been part of the Team Penske program since his Supercars racing days. The New Zealander moved to IndyCar as a rookie in 2021. He started to become a championship contender in the following years, ranking third in the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

The drivers will be back with Team Penske in their respective racing series next year. NASCAR will kick off in the Daytona 500 on February 16, while IndyCar will return with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2.

The wedding day comes on the heels of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series where Blaney had a good chance to go back-to-back. However, Joey Logano held him off in the closing laps to win the season finale and his third championship.

Blaney concluded the season with three wins, 12 top-5s, and 18 top-10s. He also scored one pole position at the first Bristol Motor Speedway stop in March.
