Hendrick Motorsports's automotive group, known for selling pre-owned cars, recently promoted the luxury brand Lexus TX on their dealership page with a special touch amid the holiday season. The automotive group shared hidden spaces in the car to store gifts for the holiday season to surprise your family and compared the car to Santa's sleigh.

The car featured in the video was a luxurious three-row car built by Lexus, owned by Japanese manufacturer Toyota. Its seating configuration allows a ride to seven passengers without any hassle. The car also comes packed with modern technology, featuring a head-up display and electronic interior door-release buttons.

Despite being a family SUV, Lexus offers a wide range of powertrain trims, starting from the base TX350 trim, packed with a turbocharged 2.4-liter inline-four engine producing 275 horsepower. The TX500h comes with a combination of a 2.4-liter turbo four with front and rear electric motors. This trim can do 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds. The base price of the new car starts at around $55,000 and goes up to $77,000 for the higher trims.

In the video, Hendrick Motorsports Auto Group revealed several secret spots in the car, highlighting the spacious interior. The Lexus TX has a hidden compartment on the driver's side to store some valuable items. The group captioned the video:

"Santa's sleigh may be classic, but the #lexustx might be his new go-to for gift hiding. 🎁"

The Hendrick Motorsports automotive group also started a sale on pre-owned vehicles in December featuring a $0 down payment option for 90 days.

Exploring the rise of Hendrick Motorsports dominance in NASCAR

NASCAR team Hendrick Motorsports was founded by Rick Hendrick in 1984. The team debuted in the 1984 Daytona 500 race and has won 14 Cup Series championship titles by the end of the 2024 Cup Series season.

But it was not always the same for Rick Hendrick; in the beginning, he started from a tobacco farm in Palmer Springs, Virginia. Recalling the moment he said:

"I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life, but I knew that wasn’t it." (via The Charlotte Observer)

He began his racing journey by visiting the local racetracks and volunteering as a crew member. Later, he saved a failing Chevy dealership and turned it into one of the most profitable dealerships. This led to the formation of Hendrick Automotive Group.

While Rick Hendrick was busy establishing his automotive group, he stayed close to his racing dream and founded the NASCAR team Hendrick Motorsports when he was 35. The team has had some of the most dominating drivers in stock car racing history.

The Cup Series team Hendrick Motorsports has the most Cup Series race wins (312) and is now the professional home of drivers 2020 Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, 2021 Champion Kyle Larson, and William Byron.
