NASCAR driver and team owner Denny Hamlin's fiancée, Jordan Fish, recently voiced her frustration with the Hatch sleep device after its app malfunctioned. The problem happened on their children's first night back to school after the holiday season.
Hamlin and Fish, who have been together since 2007, got engaged last year. They have two daughters, Taylor, 11, and Molly, 7, and are expecting their third child this June. Fish wrote about Hatch, the popular device that acts as an alarm clock and sound machine without the use of a phone.
"Hate to jump on this bandwagon but it’s literally the first night back to school for almost every single child in America.. this is highly frustrating for parents like myself in the same boat," Jordan Fish wrote.
Fish replied to the Hatch team's update on X, which read:
"We're currently experiencing issues with the Hatch Sleep app. We're actively investigating this issue and will provide more information once it is available. You can continue to use your Hatch with the on-device controls, but will not be able to access the app until the issue is resolved."
According to the company, the problem was resolved within a few hours.
"The more, the merrier" - Denny Hamlin and Jordan Fish shared family update in December
Denny Hamlin and his fiancée Jordan Fish announced last month that they are expecting their third child in a post on Instagram.
The couple shared a family photo with ultrasound pictures and captioned it:
"The more, the Merrier. Merry Christmas."
Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin, who co-owns 23XI Racing with NBA legend Michael Jordan, is fighting a legal battle with NASCAR over the charter agreements. The team, alongside Front Row Motorsports, filed an anti-trust lawsuit against the governing body in October last year. They accused NASCAR and the France family of engaging in monopolistic practices.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver talked about his priorities as a team owner during an episode of the "NASCAR: Full Speed” docuseries on Netflix.
"It's the first time we've ever had a true conflict. But I just want to make it very clear where my allegiance lies and that could obviously rub people up the wrong way. But it's the right thing to do if I'm to be a leader of the team that I own," Denny Hamlin said (via Express).
Hamlin ended last season in eighth place in the final points standings with three wins and 12 top-ten and 18 top-10 finishes. The 44-year-old is still competing to earn his first Cup Series championship after over 20 years in the series.
