NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz shared a highlight reel from his recent trip with family for work purposes on his social media. The clip showed moments from his trip to the Palmetto Dunes Resort in South Carolina, for the Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival that happened in October of this year.
Muniz went on the trip with Ford Performance, the division of Ford that has to do with creating high-performance vehicles like the Mustangs, used in NASCAR. The driver shared the video to his Instagram, adding the caption:
"I spent more time on the road in 2024 than I did at home. I had some incredible highs and some crazy lows but hands down my favorite memory of 2024 was a trip with family to @palmettodunessc for the @hhiconcours with @fordperformance. When a work trip can become a magical experience for your whole family, it's truly something special. Hoping to make this a yearly trip my family makes for years to come."
The video featured images of Frankie with his wife, Paige Muniz, and his son, Mauz Mosley Muniz, who the couple had in 2021. The Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival which Muniz attended with his family earlier this year, is a car show that features cars from the brass era to the supercars of today.
Muniz joined the racing world in 2006, driving in the Formula BMW USA Championship. He also raced in the ChampCar Atlantic Championship from 2007 to 2009, which he walked away from after an accident that caused severe injuries to the driver. He returned in 2023, placing fourth in the ARCA Menards Series before moving to the Xfinity and Truck Series in 2024. He had two starts in the Xfinity Series and four in the Truck Series with his highest finish coming from a Kansas race in the Truck Series, placing 29th.
In 2025, Frankie Muniz will join Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving their #33 Ford. The driver made two of his starts with the same team earlier this year as well, driving their #22 truck.
Frankie Muniz shares a clip from his stint as a 'Delivery Coach' this past Christmas
The Truck Series driver shared a snippet featuring him as a 'delivery coach' to Santa Claus himself in a hilarious Christmas video of Ford Performance. Muniz flexed his acting chops in the video which he shared to his Instagram on Christmas day, with the caption:
"Santa will be using the training I gave him to make sure he makes it to every house tonight to deliver presents! One of my greatest accomplishments! @fordperformance"
Frankie Muniz and Ford Performance have been working together since 2023, and the partnership has given Muniz opportunities to drive in the Mustang Challenge series along with NASCAR.
