"I wouldn't say it was a hard decision": Frankie Muniz reflects on transitioning from Hollywood stardom to professional racing
Truck Series driver Frankie Muniz recently reflected on his journey from Hollywood to professional racing, sharing insights about the challenges of balancing dual careers. Muniz expressed the belief that excelling in two distinct fields often requires choosing one, highlighting his decision to focus on motorsports.
In an episode of 'Fox and Friends', the former Hollywood star said:
"I wouldn't say it was a hard decision you know, this is something that I have been working for, for literally 20 years, since I started racing. That feeling of crossing the finish line first in that pro-celebrity race was an incredible, incredible feeling and I've been chasing that." Muniz told 'Fox & Friends' co-host Brian Kilmeade.
"I can't be part-time. You can't kind of act on the side. If you want to be really really good at anything, you've got to dedicate yourself to it and that's what I'm doing. I hope my performance proves that on the racetrack." he added.
Moreover, Muniz also revealed that he garnered a substantial amount of inspiration from former actor and NASCAR Cup Series driver Paul Newman.
