NASCAR influencer Taylor Kitchen criticized Kyle Busch's mint green livery car that was run several times in the 2024 season under the #8 tag. This was in partnership with Zone Premium Nicotine patches, and Kitchen mentioned that she disliked the livery because of its design and hopes the team to do a better job on the same if they plan to run a similar livery in the next season.

Earlier in January of 2024, Zone Premium Nicotine Patches partnered with Richard Childress Racing to sponsor Kyle Busch and his #8 Chevy for the season. The aim, other than the sponsorship, was to raise awareness amongst the NASCAR audience.

This resulted in the mint-green livery, which was an eye-catcher on the grid, but not in a positive sense. Many disliked the design and the color combination, and so did Taylor Kitchen. In a recent YouTube video on ATYL Media, she was discussing the 2024 NASCAR liveries with Tyler Pennell, when she indicated her dislike for this particular one.

"The next scheme we're looking at has about the same color code as this one. I absolutely hate it. It is the Kyle Busch Zone premium nicotine patches car. It was ran multiple times this year and I really wish it wasn't because it looks bad. I'm very critical of this car," she said (at 14:34).

Her guest Pennell also said that he did not like the livery:

"I have no emotional attachment to Zone, but this is just a lot. I mean, it's a sight for sore eyes."

Kitchen then put it in the 'F' category of their rankings, the bottom tier:

"For me it's an automatic F. I hate it, I don't want this in the field next year and if they have it in the field please for the love of God make it better."

Kyle Busch reviews his "frustrating" 2024 Cup Series season

Kyle Busch had an extremely difficult season as he headed into his second year with Richard Childress Racing. He did not win a race throughout the season for the first time in 19 years and hence did not qualify for the playoffs either. Although he got close to winning at Atlanta, Darlington and a few other races, he remained just far enough to clinch a victory.

Looking back at his season, Busch said it was "frustrating," however, he feels that they had some opportunities to grab a victory.

"Certainly frustrating," NASCAR quoted Busch. "Just not at all what we had hoped it to be after some success last year, especially early in the year and having those three wins, and then struggling a little bit on and off, but then this year, just seemingly not being able to get the monkey off our back. I mean, even having a shot to win late in the day and being close at Daytona and maybe even closer at Kansas and just not being able to pull through."
"We probably had a handful of opportunities that slipped out from under us. So can’t say that we shouldn’t have won this year or never had an opportunity to, but obviously didn’t get it done."

Kyle Busch is set to continue with RCR in the 2025 season as well. He will continue to pilot the #8 Chevy.
