Danica Patrick took to her social media account to share a fangirl moment with Donald Trump. The former NASCAR driver is supporting Trump for the upcoming United States Presidential election, and on Friday, she took the opportunity to root for him.

Trump will be up against the Democratic Party's Kamala Harris in the election scheduled for November 5, 2024. He is currently carrying out nationwide rallies throughout the United States.

Patrick was present at one of Trump's rallies on Friday, where she received the opportunity to speak in support of him. In her post, Patrick termed Trump's political rallies as one of the most powerful political movements in history.

As per Patrick's X post, the 42-year-old also voted for Donald Trump. Here's what she wrote:

"If you would have told me a year ago I would speak at a @realdonaldtrump rally 12 days before the election and have him call me out a few times during his speech. I would have asked if you fell out of the coconut tree."

"Politics is so new and so unexpected for me. It’s an honor to be part of one of the most powerful political movements in history. Not only as far as an election but also to expose the truth and really be the party of unification."

Patrick, a trailblazer in women's motorsports, was the first woman to win an IndyCar race, and the first woman to take a NASCAR Cup Series pole. She raced her last Cup Series race in 2018 and currently works as an expert with Sky Sports F1.

Danica Patrick shared why she chose to support Donald Trump over Kamala Harris for the upcoming US Presidential election. Stating her reason to Fox News, she revealed that Trump was the "reasonable choice."

"I'm passionate because it feels like voting for Donald Trump is like the vote of reason. It's like the rational, reasonable choice," Patrick said.

"I feel like most of all, though, what this country could be if he gets into office with all of the amazing, brilliant people that are supporting him, I feel like it could not only be make America great again, but make America greater than it's ever been."

Danica Patrick raced in 191 races in seven years in the Cup Series where she claimed seven top 10s. She also made 61 race appearances in five years in the Xfinity Series with seven top 10s.
