Madyson Joye Stenhouse, the wife of NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., recently shared a heartfelt reminder on Instagram about the importance of cherishing life's small joys.
Madyson works as the communications manager for the Drivers Advisory Council, a setup formed by NASCAR drivers to help improve the sport. Ricky and Madyson got married in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2022.
Recently, on September 15, Madyson recently shared a series of Instagram stories, expressing gratitude for life's simple pleasures.
"Sometimes we forget how blessed we are. My hot water works, I have groceries to eat, I can still afford eggs, I have clean sheets on my bed, I have family and friends that love me, and I woke up today in my right mind. If that's not blessed I don't know what is," the story read.
"Most of your stress comes from the way you respond to life, & not the way life really is. Adjust your attitude and leave that stress behind," as per the following picture," read another story.
Madyson, originally from Ohio, graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016 with a degree in communication. She furthered her education by earning a master's degree in organizational communication in 2018.
She worked as a manager of licensing and partnerships at Richard Childress Racing for three years between 2018 and 2021. After that, she served as director of partnerships at Marty Snider & Associates for a year.
Along with Ricky Stenhouse Jr., she also manages a 300-acre ranch in North Carolina called Slide Job Ranch. Together, they raise longhorns, donkeys, and goldendoodles and operate a website selling themed merchandise.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. currently races the No. 47 Chevrolet for JTG Daugherty Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.
The 36-year-old signed a multiyear extension with JTG Daugherty Racing in May this year. This extended his partnership with the team beyond the original 2024 expiration date, ensuring his continued presence in the Cup Series for at least two more years.
"When I joined this team in 2020, I knew both the team and I were capable of putting the No. 47 in Victory Lane..Winning the Daytona 500 last year proved that we can win together...I’m very excited to continue my relationship with the team. I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised to see what we have in store for the future," Stenhouse said regarding the extension.
The 36-year-old Ricky Stenhouse Jr. secured his third career victory in the 2023 Daytona 500, a milestone that qualified him for the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
