Parker Kligerman has revealed his partial plans after he will retire from full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series racing. The Big Machine Racing driver unfurled his desire to lock horns with rivals at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the Sports Cars racing, among others.

A month ago, Kligerman unveiled about winding down his full-time NASCAR schedule for "personal" reasons. The #48 Chevy driver has amassed 15 top-5s and 51 top-10s from the 118 races he has competed in but is yet to clinch his first NASCAR Xfinity Series win.

The Big Machine Racing driver came close to tasting his first victory at the Drive to Cure 250 race hosted by the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, but fell short by two feet, as the caution was prompted moments before he took the white flag as leader.

After his remarkable performance at the Road Course, the notion of Kligerman changing his NASCAR plans gained traction. However, the retiring driver said that that was not the case as there were personal reasons behind his retirement call. He elaborated while revealing his future desires and said (via Dirty Mo Media):

"My decision was far more personal and internal. So, you know for me, I'd love to just scratch that itch a little bit, I'd love to do a little bit of racing next year. Trying to put together a Rolex 24 effort which would be really cool, go do some sports cars, that's a bucket list item for me. (0:11)
"I love motorsports, I want to be involved in the sport for as long as I live. It's my passion, and I've been able to make it my career. I hope to be involved in some capacity, I can't say exactly what it looks like yet but I feel confident that things will line up that allow me to be involved," he added.

Parker Kligerman has four more shots to end his full-time Xfinity career on a high note.

A deep dive into Parker Kligerman's Charlotte disappointment

Kligerman dominated the 72-lap run when Leland Honeyman, on Lap 66, rammed his car into the tire barriers. The moment called for a caution but it somehow took the officials over 20 seconds to make the move. In the meantime, the #48 Chevy driver rushed to take the white flag as leader to cement his career-first win.

Had Parker Kligerman taken the white flag before the officials waved a yellow, the race would've ended with his #48 Xfinity machine as the winner. But moments before the retiring driver crossed the start/finish line, the caution was prompted, and the field was reset.

He took charge in overtime with Sam Mayer battling from second on the inside. However, as the pack steered through Turn 7, the #48 Chevy suffered from tire rub and lost multiple track positions, paving the way for Mayer's victory, while himself rounding a sixth-place finish.

As a result, Parker Kligerman failed to etch the win and his P6 result proved insufficient to propel him into the Round of 8.
