Tony Stewart revealed the top six names for his fantasy league. In a recent interview with Mobil 1 Racing, the co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing picked Lewis Hamilton and company if given a chance to build his potential league. He named five drivers from all categories and kept him as the sixth driver.
During the interview, the interviewer asked Stewart to pick six drivers for the fantasy league. While he picked five drivers instantly, he hesitated to name the fifth one. Making the list, he soon realized and declared himself as a part of the drivers' group.
"I'd take AJ Foyt, Mario Andretti. I'd take Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher," Stewart said.
Going by his choice, it is clear that Stewart chose possibly the best line-up for him. He had four F1 drivers, and two NASCAR drivers on his list, with Mario Andretti who drove in both.
Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, and Ayrton Senna are in a league of their own and are often regarded as the greatest F1 drivers in the world. While Hamilton and Schumacher have seven F1 titles to their name, Senna has three.
On the other hand, Andretti was also a world champion, having won the title in 1978. Besides this, he also raced in NASCAR where he won the 1967 Daytona 500. AJ Foyt won seven Cup Series races during his career.
Tony Stewart, who is currently worth $90 million (as per Celebrity Net Worth), was also a former NASCAR driver. He is also a three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and has 49 Cup Series race wins to his name.
Tony Stewart doesn't give a 'sh*t' about the Olympics
Tony Stewart recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing Olympics in Paris, France. The co-owner of the Stewart-Haas Racing team seemed least interested in the grand show, as he went on to race despite having a week off.
"We have a weekend off. I said, 'You don't think I'm gonna sit at home watch TV?' I don't get two s**ts about the Olympics," Stewart said. "So, I'd rather come race and hang out with some cool people."
"Hopped back in the Top Alcohol Dragster on the off-weekend for a packed house at #NightUnderFire. Made it to the Final, but Gary’s 5.25 pulled off the win against my 5.26," wrote Stewart in an X post lately.
NASCAR is currently on a week-long break due to the ongoing Summer Olympics, and so is Tony Stewart. Despite that, he took his time to participate in the NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster at Sonoma Raceway. NASCAR is set to return in the second week of August with the Richmond Raceways races.
