Kevin Harvick recently spoke about the potential repercussions of Kyle Busch's comments about his future. Ahead of the Cup race at Iowa, Busch claimed that "anything is possible" regarding where he goes next season. The RCR driver said that if Hendrick Motorsports welcomed him back, he would go.

These comments didn't sit well with Kevin Harvick, who spoke about what they could lead to within RCR and the #8 team on his podcast, Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour.

"A message like that just opens the Pandora's box to letting all of us critique, criticize, speculate what that means. I can see thinking that, but I don't know why you would say that unless you were not happy with the deal that you have. And opening the door to a Joe Gibbs conversation or a Hendrick conversation, that's just like a kick in the teeth to the guys and the girls that are working on your car," he said.

Harvick claimed that to not be committed 100% to the team Busch is driving for, unless he's looking for a way out of it, is what confuses him.

"I don't know why you would say that if you were happy and wanting to work through the scenario that you had. It seems to me that he's just throwing it out there just to see what the options are on the table. I'm so confused about making those comments about driving at Gibbs and Hendrick because I don't know what does in making your situation better at RCR," he added.

Harvick claimed that he doesn't see a scenario where Kyle Busch could find his way back to HMS or Joe Gibbs Racing.

Kyle Busch's return to JGR is unlikely as per NASCAR Insiders

Speaking on the Teardown after the Cup race at Iowa, Jordan Bianchi dismissed the idea of Busch and JGR having a reunion in the future.

Bianchi pointed to the unchanged circumstances at Coach Gibbs' team as Busch left because of a lack of sponsor after Mars Inc. parted ways with the sport, leaving a void they haven't filled yet. The NASCAR journalist claimed that from JGR's perspective, paying Kyle Busch and paying Chase Briscoe, who is being tipped to be the next #19 driver, is going to be "significantly different."

For Bianchi, not only is the likelihood of Busch and JGR becoming a team again slim, the very idea of it is a "wild-a** rumor." He claimed it is a rumor and not a development in the making because he hasn't heard anything substantial or credible enough to support it.

As for the idea of Busch going to HMS, Bianchi deemed that "a wild-a** rumor" as well.
