Kyle Busch expressed his nervousness ahead of his son Brexton's race at the Tulsa Shootout. He explained that he was more worried than he would ever be for himself considering all the hard work his 9-year-old son did to reach that point in his career.

The Tulsa Shootout Junior Sprint Division was all fired up with over 100 drivers participating in the sprint cars series. One of the earlier races was won by Kyle Larson's son Owen Larson, but Brexton had his eyes set on the next. He qualified for pole position and was ready to start the race when his father Kyle uploaded a video revealing the butterflies in his stomach. He mentioned that he was extremely stressed while making sure everything was perfect with the car before the race.

"The motions for today are just stress. Just making sure as a team that we've got the car as perfect as we can get it for him and making it right so he can go out there and do his job."

Kyle Busch further mentioned that he would never feel so nervous for himself as he did for Brexton. He explained that his son had worked hard for it and was looking forward to a win in the Junior Sprint, also stating that he would have to work for it.

"I feel ten times more nervous than I ever would for myself," Kyle Busch claimed. "Knowing how hard he's worked and everything that he's done this year with the guys to go out there and try to put it all together and get a win in the junior sprint. So I know he wants it and I hope that it doesn't affect him that he thinks it's gonna be easy. He's got to work for it. Nothing comes easy."

Kyle Busch's son Brexton wins the Tulsa Shootout Junior Sprint

Brexton Busch's excellent racing in the 18B sprint car awarded him the victory in the race and with it, he also won the Golden Driller of the Junior Sprint Division in the Tulsa Shootout.

The race was a show of dominance for Brexton as he led every single lap before getting to the final chequered flag. He managed to keep the #20 car behind him at all times and consistently increased his lead to win the race.

This is a major achievement for young racers. Brexton has been racing for a while now and has become an expert on dirt tracks gaining multiple victories across different victories. He recently got behind a kart to mark his debut in the series but his first race at Trackhouse Motorplex on the asphalt did not go as planned. However, with his father Kyle Busch's experience and support, Brexton's skills can be polished to compete in higher levels of racing and pave the way to NASCAR.
