In the recent episode of the “Dale Jr. Download” podcast, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. sat down with his wife to discuss their past week and exciting topics, including “Does Dale Jr. always hit the dance floor?” Amy revealed a playful secret to bringing the best out of Dale Jr. on the dance floor.
Revealing how she convinces her husband to take him to the dance floor, Amy said:
“I have to do it; public shame really is the only way. I have to get up and start dancing and do the fish hook… Yeah, everybody’s watching, so he doesn’t really have a choice. He just doesn't like to do it. So, I have to convince him every time. He's got rhythm.”
Dale Earnhardt Jr. candidly revealed why he hit the dance floor with his wife and said:
“I have to go up there to fend off all the other men.”
Amy has been keeping things fun and lighthearted in her marriage with Dale Jr., who has a net worth of $200 million (via Celebrity Net Worth). She jokingly further said:
“I'll dance with anybody too. If there’s a single guy out there and he’s looking at me, I’m going to dance. It's just for the fun.”

Amy reveals video games keep Dale Earnhardt Jr. at home
During the recent episode of the “Dale Jr Download” podcast of Ask Amy, she revealed her husband’s passion for video games. Amy admitted that while she teases him about it, she appreciates his video game hobby because it keeps him at home rather than out engaging in risky activities.
“I make fun of the video game thing, like it keeps him off the street. I’m not so mad about it, but he does it while I’m sleepy…It keeps him in the home; even before we ever got married and had kids, I was like, At least he’s not on the street.” Amy said.
Two-time Daytona 500 winner proposed to Amy in Germany on June 17, 2015, and tied the knot with her on New Year’s Eve, 2016. Their wedding took place at a music festival in South Carolina. They are proud parents of two daughters, Isla Rose and Nicole Lorraine.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. met Amy when he hired her to design the interior of his home in Kannapolis, North Carolina. They began dating in 2009 but kept their relationship private until 2011.
