NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife, Madyson, recently took to Instagram to share her experience of her first day at work with her sister.
Stenhouse Jr. currently drives full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for JTG Daugherty Racing. The No. 47 Chevrolet driver got married to Madyson Joye on October 26, 2022, in South Carolina. The couple are parents to a three-month-old son, Stetson.
Madyson posted a picture of her first day on the job with Charlotte Photographer, Kaylin Forbush, and her sister. Here’s what she wrote:
"First day on the job with my sis...That was fun and I didn't get fired."
Before the event, Madyson jokingly asked her nine thousand followers to suggest a time-frame by which she would get fired.
"How long till she fires me?"
Madyson, who has a master’s degree in communications from Ohio State University, is the communication manager at the Drivers Advisory Council. She previously worked at Richard Childress Racing for three years and was the Director of Partnerships at Marty Snider & Associates.
Ricky and Madyson also share glimpses of their ranch life on Instagram. They own and operate Slide Job Ranch in North Carolina, home to miniature donkeys, longhorns, and other animals.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and wife Madyson celebrate two years of marriage
Madyson Joye recently shared a post celebrating her second wedding anniversary with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The couple's wedding ceremony took place at Runnymede, a private property by the Ashley River.
"A once in a lifetime kind of love 🤍 Two years down, forever to go," Madyson wrote.
Madyson wore a long-sleeved Berta Bridal dress, while Ricky wore a suit from The Black Tux. Notably, fellow drivers Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin attended the couple's wedding.
"I grew up going to Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, so the water is very special to me. We knew we wanted to get married on the water," Madyson said (via PEOPLE).
Madyson and their son Stetson attended the NASCAR playoff race at Martinsville Speedway last weekend.
"Last race of the season for Stetson & I 🏁 We are so blessed to be alongside @stenhousejr on this wild ride! We love watching him do what he loves," Madyson wrote in another post.
Stenhouse Jr. will next race at the season's final race this weekend. The 37-year-old, who won his third career race at the 2023 Daytona 500, extended his contract with JTG Daugherty Racing in May this year.
The Cup Series championship race is set for Sunday at Phoenix Raceway.
