The 2024 Xfinity Series season couldn't have ended better for Kelley Earnhardt Miller, Co-owner of JR Motorsports with her brother Dale Earnhardt Jr. The siblings' venture earned its fourth NASCAR title, courtesy of Justin Allgaier and the #7 crew, after witnessing a drought since Tyler Reddick reigned supreme in the 2018 season.

The moment was surreal and emotional for the brother-sister duo and the team that bested two wins, 10 top-5s, and 20 top-10s, including a runner-up finish in the Phoenix Championship Race that helped etch the pinnacle spot.

But Kelley Earnhardt had a moment with a 'little' fan that nearly brought tears to her eyes.

NASCAR is the most followed stock car racing league in the United States -and fans sometimes go to lengths to see their admired driver tame the field -something that happened with Dale Jr. during his penultimate race.

Kelley reflected on the emotional moment when a kid and his family 'drove for 22 hours to Phoenix.' She also mentioned that the boy donned a Brandt firesuit, the company that primarily sponsored Allgaier's title-winning ride.

"During the Championship Race, there was a little boy, his family. They drove 22 hours to Phoenix to watch Justin race for the championship," Kelley said. "Full Brandt firesuit that he had gotten. He wanted to meet Dale Jr. so we brought him up into the hauler. Man, the interaction, I just wanted to cry in terms of how excited he was. You've had to have a million of those encounters with fans," Kelley said via Dirty Mo Media.

Earnhardt's co-host, Jessica Fickenscher, conferred with the former's take. She mentioned one incident when Kyle Larson sent several autographed items to an ardent fan who got a heart attack during a Coca-Cola 600 race, a couple of years ago.

"Really unbelievable": Kelley Earnhardt reflects on Justin Allgaier's Xfinity Series title

Justin Allgaier began his rookie Xfinity season in 2009 and has remained a full-time National Series driver. The Illinois native moved to Cup Series for the 2014 and 2015 seasons but returned to the Xfinity albeit with a different garage, JR Motorsports.

Since then, Allgaier hasn't lent his expertise elsewhere but Dale Jr. and Kelley Earnhardt's team, where he raked in 22 victories and five podium season-end standings. However, the thirst to claim his first NASCAR title and another one for JR Motorsports got quenched after he bested the Championship 4 drivers in a fierce closing laps battle at the 1-mile oval.

Kelley Earnhardt praised Allgaier as she outlined his 'unbelievable' performance.

“I really felt like it was meant to be. This really was our year. The restarts for Justin were fantabulous. Every time I would watch the restart going down into the dogleg there after the green flag, you'd see them come over in (turn) three and he would be what seemed like a disaster from the dogleg around there and then all of a sudden he would be in the top three or four and I was like, Oh my gosh, this is crazy!” Kelley said via Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.
“Really unbelievable. I'm just truly happy for every single person that's been involved from day one for JR Motorsports and for Justin,” she added.

Before the season concluded, Justin Allgaier inked a multi-year extension with Kelley Earnhardt and brother Dale Jr.
