Samantha Busch loves good Italian food. However, restaurant hunting, with a three-year-old daughter to worry about, is indeed a tough job to execute for Samantha. Thankfully, she and her nine-year-old son, Brexton, found an authentic Italian restaurant near the hotel where the Busch family checked in. The bad news is that she had to ditch the in-house restaurant.

Samantha Busch, wife of two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, Kyle Busch, is currently on vacation in Italy with her family. NASCAR went on a break following last week's Cup race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The two-week hiatus was necessary as NASCAR's media partner, NBC Sports, would be busy providing blanket coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Samantha, along with Kyle Busch and their children, had initially opted to dine at the restaurant in their hotel. However, their daughter, Lennix, wasn't holding up too well. As a result, they had to find a table for four elsewhere. Narrating the incident in one of her recent Instagram stories, Samantha said,

"I kind of felt bad, but also I'm super excited. We went to a restaurant that was in our hotel, and if you just tell, it's kind of too nice for us being dressed super casual with the kids. So, we sat down, we gave it a minute and we're like, oh, sorry, Lennix isn't doing well. We're going to go."

While strolling down the alleys, Samantha and Brexton spotted a restaurant that specializes in authentic Italian cuisine.

"So, Brexton and I just randomly walked down these back alleyways and streets and just found the most super authentic restaurant and I'm pumped," Samantha exclaimed. "I think I'm most excited for this meal."

The vacation with family and some good Italian food is perhaps what Samantha's husband, Kyle Busch, needs to regain his winning momentum this year. The Richard Childress Racing driver is currently on a 40-plus race winless streak and also on the verge of missing the playoffs.

Samantha Busch on her newfound love for Crocs

About two months before heading to Italy, Samantha put up a question before her 119.9k followers on TikTok. The question was about what shoes she should wear while walking down the streets of the beautiful country. Her demands were simple: the shoes needed to be "perfect for a grandma, but stylish."

Soon, a lady came up with the most unexpected answer: the Crocs' getaway collection. Needless to say, Samantha wasn't convinced at first.

"I'm not a Crocs person, right?" she said in another Instagram story. "I'm not going to do that. But then somehow I went on and I did it."

Samantha was pleasantly surprised. So much so that she walked over 17,000 steps in her newly acquired Crocs.

"Let me tell you, I have walked over 17,000 steps in these shoes. They are lightweight. I shoved them in a bag and they packed fine. Zero blisters, my feet don't hurt, my back doesn't hurt. Lady on TikTok, thank you so much," she added.

The Busch family will be back in the USA for the next Cup race of the season, which is the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway on August 11. Catch the action live on NBC Sports and the USA Network. Radio updates will be available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
