Dale Earnhardt Jr. achieved one more milestone and turned 50 on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Several wishes poured from all across the globe, and one fan posted a throwback video from Earnhardt's early days of racing.
In the video, the NASCAR insider walked inside a motorsports-themed club named 'Jr's Place' filled with several ATVs and bikes. The fan shared a nostalgic post and captioned, 'Happy Birthday @DaleJr Hope you tear the club up tonight!' The fan brought back Dale Jr.'s younger days from his partying era.
"I kind of like going out to clubs, but when I go to club I like to get trashed. The fast way to drive your home is always hard because we live about 30 minutes from all that good stuff," said Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Junior faced this problem a lot and later in 2008 opened his own bar, 'Whisky River'. Dale mentioned that he had been to many bars and "you have to meet the owners all the time." But being an owner is like being on that "other side," and he felt "surreal."
Earnhardt Jr.'s bar was named after a bar located 25 miles away from his Mooresville, N.C., home that was named after Willie Nelson's song Whiskey Rivers. To avoid legal issues, "e" was dropped from the name.
