NASCAR Cup Series driver Brad Keselowski recently participated in a meet-and-greet session with fans at the Roush Automotive Collection Open House. In a heartwarming moment, Keselowski was seen signing an enthusiastic fan's prosthetic legs.
Keselowski, who is worth $45 million (According to Celebrity Net Worth), drives the #6 Ford for RFK Racing. With championship titles in both the Xfinity Series (2010) and Cup Series (2012), Keselowski has made 76 trips to victory lane across NASCAR's three divisions during the course of his distinguished career.
Recently, Keselowski made a fan's day at the Roush Automotive Collection's Open House event. A disabled fan approached Keselowski with his prosthetic legs, seeking an autograph from the former champion. The fan's prosthetics were decorated with Keselowski's number and the recent paint scheme of his #6 Ford. The pair had a heartfelt conversation, during which the fan was heard saying:
"Now here comes the fun part. I don't know if the paint marker works."
The fan presented his prosthetic to Keselowski, who received it with gratitude before adding his signature. Upon receiving the signed prosthetic back, the fan was visibly overjoyed and expressed his appreciationby saying,
"Oh I love it, I'm going to be the talk of the town. And if you don't mind doing a third, you could sign your son's name. You'll have his first autograph on a Michigan leg."
Before fulfilling his fan's desire, the 40-year-old claimed that he had never been asked to do such a thing previously. Additionally, the fan also got RFK Racing's co-owner Jack Roush's signature on his prosthetics, which proved to be the icing on the cake.
As things currently stand, Brad Keselowski is P9 in the driver standings, with 636 points to his credit. Keselowski has accumulated 10 top-ten and 5 top-five finishes so far this season. His victory at Darlington earlier in the year secured his spot in the 2024 playoffs.
"It's been a good track for Ford" - Brad Keselowski expresses his views on Michigan International Speedway ahead of the Firekeepers Casino 400
Brad Keselowski recently shared his thoughts on the 2-mile speedway in Michigan, where the Cup Series returns this Sunday.
Ford has dominated the competition between the three major manufacturers at Michigan International Speedway, with nine wins compared to Chevrolet's six and Toyota's single victory.
Here's what Keselowski had to say about Ford's record in Michigan: (via Ford Performance):
“I didn’t know it was nine races. That’s a great streak to have. We certainly don’t take it for granted. Those streaks come and go, but it’s been a good track for Ford. We put a lot of emphasis on going there, which has paid off clearly."
The Michigan native finished the Cook Out 400 in P16 after making a P29 start. He will be looking to drive down victory lane in his home state on Sunday.
