Zane Smith's wife McCall recalled their wedding week as she shared a beautiful silhouette picture on her Instagram story. The couple got married earlier in January of 2024.
Smith popped the question to McCall back in 2022 and the couple got married two years later. They had been dating since 2018. This week, almost a year after their wedding, McCall Smith shared a heartwarming picture of the couple on her Instagram story. She captioned it:
"Anytime I am able to post anything from our wedding you know I'm going too. I miss this week🥹🤍"
She shared some more pictures from their wedding, including some from the day before their wedding.
McCall Smith is the younger sister of former NASCAR driver Gray Gaulding. She remains fairly active on social media, sharing her lifestyle with over 12k followers on Instagram alone. In a lot of her posts, she is also seen with Zane Smith on the race tracks.
McCall's wishes her "dream" for Zane Smith becomes a "reality"
A few weeks ago, McCall Smith shared a post on social media, claiming that she had a dream that he had won his first Cup Series race. She added that she hoped it would turn into reality someday.
She took to X (formerly Twitter) to write:
"Had a dream last night that Zane won his first cup race! Hopefully someday that dream can become reality 🙏🏼🤍Can you tell I’m already missing NASCAR? LOL."
In a reply below the post, she also mentioned location in the dream, in response to a fan's question. She wrote:
"Martinsville!"
While her dream is of success for Zane Smith, he is yet to find a drive for the 2025 season. He won the 2022 Craftsman Truck Series Championship with Front Row Motorsports. He then made his full-time Cup Series debut with Spire Motorsports in 2023 but was sacked by the team at the end of the season.
Smith said before the last race of the season in Phoenix that it has been a tough time for him recently. He also said he would have taken appropriate steps to secure a seat with another team if he had known earlier. Smith said (via FrontStretch),
“It’s been an absolutely miserable three-four months, I’m just figuring out what’s next obviously there’s not much available and there’s a lot going on in the sport right now. And I wish I was I could have known sooner that I was I was going to be like go to, so, we could maybe work towards that goal of figuring out what was next just because things fill up here" (0:32).
Smith piloted the #71 Chevy but will be replaced by Michael McDowell in 2025.
