Ryan Blaney's sister Erin Blaney has shared some heartfelt moments from her trip to Paris during the 2024 Summer Olympics. While several fans savored the global event from their homes, the Team Penske driver's sister watched the sporting event in the French capital itself.
Erin Blaney came across several noteworthy moments from her visit to the Paris Olympics, and, after wrapping up her trip, she handpicked some thoughts and shared them with her fans, that included getting emotional on seeing other athletes cry.
"I teared up seeing any athlete cry, get emotional, or have so much excitement they couldn't contain it. So much of their life is dedicated to this moment which I felt blessed to witness," Erin Blaney wrote.
"Witnessing the pure sportsman and respect of what the Olympics stand for gave me chills; Crowds had so much home country spirit, but also genuinely and greatly applauded general talent; I became a new fan of so many people from all over the world; The hugs and handshakes between the competitors while competing made me smile," she added, sharing her different experiences.

While Erin Blaney witnessed countless emotional moments at the Olympic Games, several sporting moments stood out.
The majority of Blaney's favorite moments revolved around gymnastics icon Simone Biles, who won three golds. She also spoke about Suni Lee and brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade.
"Simone win All Around gold and Suni[sa] [Lee] with bronze; Rebeca [Andrade] (won gold in Floor gymnastics) giving Simone (runner-up) a run for her money; Simone's [Pole] vault [win]," she mentioned.

"Men's 100 meter final top 5 photo finish (and Noah [Lyles] getting the gold; Crowd cheering for 15 minutes straight after Japan made the next round in Volleyball and not a single person walking out of gym until the team left; [Carlos] Alcaraz at Rolland Garros; Ukraine winning women's high jump and the 2nd place woman's [Nicola Olyslagers] incredible enthusiasm; St. Lucia winning first ever medal, and teams exchanging gifts before competing."
As NASCAR will mark its return from the break at the Richmond Raceway on August 11, brother Ryan Blaney will be seen fighting for the regular season championship as his playoff spot stands secure.
The 30-year-old is currently fifth in the Cup Series driver's standings with 676 points to his name, 73 behind top-ranked Kyle Larson. Blaney has won two races so far this season at the Iowa Corn 350 and The Great American Getaway 400. He also has an additional five top-five finishes.
Blaney finished third in the Brickyard 400, which took place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
