The JTG Daugherty Racing driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and his wife Madyson Joye are enjoying the off-season, spending time with their newborn son and going on long drives. Recently, Joye held a Q&A session on her Instagram account before a long ride, and one of her fans asked her about her 'favorite part' about attending the NASCAR Cup Series races.
Stenhouse Jr.'s wife gave a hilarious reply to the fan, jokingly highlighting her enjoyment of the adrenaline rush associated with racing. She revealed that she thrived on the excitement and intensity of the sport. She wrote:
"I like the adrenaline of the race day and my nerves are usually all over the place. I feel like I thrive off of adrenaline 🤣"
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife, Joye, is a frequent sight at the racetrack. Even after welcoming their son, Stetson Steele Stenhouse, in July of this year, she continues to attend races. Joye's Instagram account is filled with heartwarming photos of their little one. She was recently seen at Junior's final race of the season, held at the Phoenix Raceway on November 10, 2024.
"Last race of the season for Stetson & I 🏁 We are so blessed to be alongside @stenhousejr on this wild ride! We love watching him do what he loves ❤️❤️❤️," wrote Madyson Joye.
The first race their son Stetson Steele Stenhouse attended was the Daytona International, in which Stenhouse Jr. managed a finish of P33. He also attended the races held at Bristol Motor Speedway, where the #47 Chevy Camaro ZL1 driver finished in P27, and at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where the JTG Daugherty Racing driver finished in P16.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife revealed her off-season plans with her husband and newborn baby
During the same Q&A session, Madyson Joye shared some insights with her fans on her off-season plans with her family.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife is focusing on quality time with family, as she recently became a mother. During the off-season, the family will have a trip to Ohio in December and another small trip before the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series starts.
“Mainly a lot of family time. Went to Mississippi for Thanksgiving and we will go to Ohio to see my family in December. Have a small trip planned before Daytona, but I'm enjoying having Ricky home more and hanging with the animals at @slidejobranch,” wrote Jenna Petty.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. concluded his 2024 season ranked 25th, highlighted by a single victory at the Talladega Fall Race. He also secured six top-ten and three top-five finishes in 36 starts. Unfortunately, seven DNFs and an average finish of 22.05 marred his season. His win at Talladega was a remarkable achievement, as he successfully navigated the massive wreck that defined the race. The 2025 NASCAR season will commence with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway in February.
