Jordan Fish recently participated in a social media photo trend and showcased her love for Denny Hamlin. Fish is engaged to the Cup Series driver and they are parents to two daughters.
Fish, a communications graduate of East Carolina University, first met #11 Toyota driver Hamlin at a Charlotte Bobcats game in 2007. Apart from a brief split in 2021, they have been together ever since. Their first daughter, Molly Gold Hamlin, was born in 2017, while their second daughter, Taylor James Hamlin, was born in 2013. In January of this year, the famed NASCAR couple shared their news of getting engaged.
In a recent Instagram post, Jordan Fish shared a throwback picture from her early dating days with the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. She captioned the post:
"We're almost in 2025, but I've loved you since 2008"
As the 2024 NASCAR season concluded, Florida native Hamlin marked two decades of competing in the premier division for NASCAR Hall of Famer Joe Gibbs. Hamlin made his full-time Cup debut in 2006, winning the Rookie of the Year honor.
Since then, he has amassed 54 Cup victories and is ranked 12th in the all-time win list. His wins include a Coca-Cola 600, three Southern 500s, and three esteemed Daytona 500 races.
"All three of them" : Jordan Fish reveals Denny Hamlin's memorable wins
In a conversation on Dirty Mo Media's Dale Jr. Download podcast, Jordan Fish discussed veteran driver Denny Hamlin's most profound race triumphs.
When asked about Hamlin's memorable wins, Fish quickly mentioned the 2016 Daytona 500 race where the #11 took the checkered flag 0.011 seconds ahead of his teammate, Martin Truex Jr. Notably, this race is the closest finish ever recorded in the Daytona 500's history.
Fish then mentioned the other two Daytona 500 wins, in 2019 and 2020, as memorable ones, saying:
"All three of them, now they're all three different feelings, like the first one with Martin, you know, being like, inches away, and how exciting that was. The second one was also kind of special. And then the one with Ryan Newman, you know, flipping. That was like, so, like, we could even, you know, you can't celebrate, right?"
Hamlin's third Daytona 500 victory in 2020 was recorded as the second closest finish in history in 'the Great American race'. He triumphed over Ryan Blaney by 0.014 seconds in the overtime restart.
Despite all his accolades and dominant performances, Hamlin hasn't etched his name on a Cup Series championship title.
In the just-concluded 2024 NASCAR season, Hamlin secured three wins and 12 top-five finishes. He ended the season at P8 in the final driver's standings.
