In December 2024, Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Gianna Tulio. It's just a month to his marriage, and Blaney is navigating something almost every couple has faced: the classic toilet seat debate. He recently humorously discusses the common dilemma of toilet etiquette and reveals the solution to tackle the problem.
Ryan Blaney recently made an appearance on the “Dale Jr. Download” podcast, where the topic of “toilet hygiene after marriage” came up. Dale Jr. and his wife Amy, who joined as special co-host, wanted to know if any specific set of rules has changed regarding toilet use since getting married.
Blaney said yes and candidly admitted that he occasionally forgets to lift the toilet seat. To avoid such situations altogether, the #12 Ford driver revealed that he installed a urinal in his house to solve the seat issue.
“When you go to the bathroom and you have to go take a pee. Do you pick the lid and the toilet seat up? I mess that up every now and then. I don’t put the seat up. In my defense, I will clean the seat if there is any dribble.” I've come up with a solution for this. I actually put a urinal in my house. I will walk across the house to go to the bathroom just so I can use the urinal. So, that kind of takes away a lot of the seat issue.” newlywed Blaney said.
2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio tied the knot on December 12, 2024, at Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado, surrounded by friends, family, and NASCAR personalities. The wedding was themed "Winter Enchantment: A Candlelit Aspen Affair."
Ryan Blaney is gearing up for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season
Ryan Blaney, driving the #12 Ford in his seventh and title defense season for Team Penske, had an outstanding 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. He came runner-up at the season finale at Phoenix Raceway after losing to his teammate Joey Logano for back-to-back NASCAR Cup championships.
Blaney wrapped up the successful 2024 campaign with three wins, 12 top-five, and 18 top-10 finishes with an average finish of 15.2 in 36 races. The last two seasons had been a career best for him, and he will look to replicate the same consistent performance in the upcoming 2025 NASCAR Cup season.
