In Photos: Danica Patrick makes a fashion statement in an eye-catching floral skirt at the F1 Abu Dhabi GP

Danica Patrick recently styled an out-of-the-box outfit ahead of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The former NASCAR driver returned for her role as an F1 pundit with the Sky Sports F1 broadcasting team at the Yas Marina Circuit, near the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

While the Qualifying session of the 2024 F1 season's final race is in the books, NASCAR trailblazer Patrick shared her outfit of the day and behind the scenes with fellow members of the broadcasting team. Patrick wore a red-colored floral skirt and a black sleeveless top.

The 2008 Indy Japan 300 winner Patrick has made a number of fashion statements during her Formula 1 appearances over the years. The 42-year-old donned a black dress with golden embroidery at the Las Vegas GP and emphasized her sleepless F1 broadcasting schedule in a post on Instagram.

"I am now nocturnal after that schedule 🤪 but we had a lot of fun!!!!! @maxverstappen1 is now 4 time champ…. In a row! And Mercedes was 1-2! 🏆🏁" wrote Patrick.

Apart from her motorsports career, the Beloit, Wisconsin native was recently in the spotlight for her campaigning for Donald Trump during the US presidential election and deemed him as the rational and reasonable choice.

In an interview, Danica Patrick claimed she voted for the first time in any US Presidential election and did so for the Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Speaking with Jesse Watters of Fox News, Patrick said:

"I am passionate because it feels like voting for Donald Trump is like the vote of reason, it's like rational, reasonable choice," Patrick said. [2:00]
"I feel like most of all though, what this country could be if he gets into office with all of the amazing, brilliant people that are supporting him, I feel like he could not only make America great again but make it greater than it has ever been."

In the racing world, Danica Patrick is considered one of the most successful female open-wheel racers and the only woman to win an IndyCar Series race. Moreover, she was the first female driver to start the iconic Daytona 500 on pole in 2013.

Since her retirement in 2017, Patrick has ventured into the ownership business and now owns a vineyard in Napa Valley, California. She also started an athleisure clothing line and a luxury candle collection. Additionally, she hosts her weekly Pretty Intense podcast.
