Gianna Tulio, the now-wife of 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney, took to social media to show off her wedding gown on the heels of the couple's wedding. The two got married on December 12 of this year, exactly one year to the day since Blaney proposed to his longtime girlfriend.
BERTA, a fashion company based in New York, shared photos from Blaney and Tulio's wedding via Instagram. The company penned a caption that read:
"Stunning Gianna and Ryan"
Gianna proceeded to share BERTA's post to her personal Instagram story.
Tulio and Blaney's wedding also garnered attention from People Magazine, which shared a post via Instagram in honor of the couple's special day. They wrote:
"NASCAR star Ryan Blaney is speeding toward a lifetime of love! Blaney tied the knot with his girlfriend of more than four years, Gianna Tulio, in a "whimsical" winter wedding at Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colo., on Thursday, Dec. 12 — exactly one year after he popped the question atop a snow-covered bridge in Washington."
Blaney's special day comes not too long after another successful season behind the wheel of the #12 Team Penske Ford. The North Carolina native wheeled his way to a runner-up finish in the Championship 4 race. He finished just behind teammate Joey Logano, who went on to win his third career championship. Blaney tallied three victories in 2024, which came at Iowa, Pocono, and Martinsville, respectively.
Last year, Blaney reached the pinnacle of NASCAR by winning the 2023 Cup Series title. He fended off Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Christopher Bell in the championship race at Phoenix to claim the title. Blaney also picked up three wins in 2023, which came at Charlotte, Talladega, and Martinsville.
Ryan Blaney said he was "proud" of 2024 season despite not winning the championship
Ryan Blaney came up one spot shy of claiming back-to-back NASCAR Cup Series championships as he finished runner-up behind Team Penske teammate Joey Logano. However, the veteran driver was pleased with how he performed throughout the season.
Blaney made note of his appreciation for this season via Instagram on the heels of the championship race at Phoenix. He wrote:
"The 12-Team was amazing and fought all year. It was close. We were there but just came up short. Proud and thankful to @team_penske and all of our partners. Congratulations to RP on 3 in a row and to the 22 Team on their 3rd Championship. We will be ready to chase another in 2025."
This past season marked Blaney's ninth full-time Cup Series campaign and his seventh at Team Penske. Prior to that, Blaney wheeled the #21 Wood Brother's Racing car, winning his first career Cup race at Pocono with the team in 2017.
