Legacy Motor Club driver John Hunter Nemechek and his family arrived at Talladega Superspeedway in their RV for the NASCAR weekend. Taylor Nemechek shared glimpses of their road trip with their two kids, on social media.
Ahead of the 500-mile race at the famed oval this Sunday, the #42 Toyota driver warmed up by driving his RV for hundreds of miles from his residence in Mooresville, North Carolina, to Talladega, Alabama, on Friday, October 4. His wife shared updates from their journey and hosted a Q&A session on the go.

Taylor also posted an adorable picture of the two siblings in the motorhome, taken before they started their journey.
"How are the Kiddos handling the road trip??" the question read, to which Taylor replied "good 😂 penelope sleeping and aspen coloring"

John Hunter Nemechek previews playoff Talladega race
Heading into the second race in the Round of 12 playoffs, the spotlight will be on the title contenders, while John Hunter Nemechek and the rest of the non-playoff drivers will be looking forward to playing spoiler in the post-season.
Enduring a challenging season with Legacy Motor Club transitioning to Toyota, Nemechek insists the team has shown speed at Superspeedways this season, but hasn't had the luck to clinch the deserving results.
"Our LEGACY MOTOR CLUB team has shown some speed at each of the Superspeedway races this year, we just haven't had the luck to close one out. We have a sharp looking GEARWRENCH Toyota Camry XSE for this weekend's race at Talladega, hopefully we can put it out front during the race and turn our season around," he was quoted as saying by SpeedwayDigest.com.
John Hunter Nemechek recorded his best superspeedway result of the season in the Daytona 500, securing a seventh-place finish. He was involved in the Toyota wreck at Talladega earlier this season. He has finished eighth twice in his three starts at Talladega, both during his tenure at Front Row Motorsports.
